The obligations of the office of Mayor have
growth to such an extent that, for all intents and purposes, a full-time
Mayor is required. Accordingly, the Village of Lake George deems it
to be in the best interests to both its citizens and taxpayers to
require that the position of Mayor be a full-time position. "Full-time"
is defined as 35 hours per week.
Compensation for the Mayor of the Village of
Lake George is established at $40,000 per year.
