In accordance with the provisions of § 392 of the Executive Law of the State of New York, the Village of Lake George, Warren County, New York, hereby accepts and adopts the applicability of the State Fire Prevention Code heretofore adopted by the State Building Code Council of the State of New York.[1]

Any person, firm or corporation convicted of violating any of the provisions of this article or any part thereof or of the State Fire Prevention Code shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $100 for each offense, and in addition to such fine, the person violating the same shall be a disorderly person, and such violation shall constitute disorderly conduct, and such person shall be a disorderly person. Each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of the provisions of this article is committed, continued or permitted shall constitute a separate offense hereunder.

Pursuant to § 381, Subdivision 2, of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake George, New York, hereby elects not to administer or enforce the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code for the Village of Lake George and elects to authorize the Warren County Department of Fire Prevention and Building Code Enforcement to administer and enforce said code for the Village of Lake George.
