A. 
Snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles will be prohibited on all streets except:
(1) 
Dieskau Street and Ottawa Street from the intersection of Amherst Street south to Sewell Street.
(2) 
Amherst Street from the intersection of Ottawa Street to the lake terminus.
(3) 
Lower Montcalm Street Concourse.
(4) 
Kurosaka Lane.
(5) 
Iroquois Street.
(6) 
Sewell Street.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle on the streets of the Village of Lake George at a speed in excess of 15 miles per hour.
C. 
Those persons 10 years of age but less than 16 years of age who possess a valid snowmobile operator's certificate may operate a snowmobile on Village streets only when accompanied by a person 16 years of age or older.
D. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle on the streets of the Village of Lake George without having a fixed fluorescent flag or banner of at least 10 square inches, and said flag or banner shall be attached to the uppermost part of a mast at least 60 inches in length.
E. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle on the streets of the Village of Lake George without displaying one lighted headlight and one lighted taillight of the type required pursuant to § 25.17 of the Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law of the State of New York.
F. 
The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to suspend the above restrictions for any approved special event, such as but not limited to the Winter Carnival or Chilly Willy, etc., involving snowmobiles and/or all-terrain vehicles.
G. 
This section shall take effect immediately upon the filing of this section with the Secretary of State of the State of New York.
