§ 35-1 Terms of office; elections.

Terms of office for elected officials, that being the Mayor and four Trustees, shall be four consecutive years. The election in March of 1997 will be for the elected positions of a Mayor and two Trustees for a three-year period. The election in March of 1998 will be for two Trustees for a four-year period, with an election every four years thereafter to fill those positions. An election will be held in the year 2000 to fill the positions of Mayor and two Trustees for terms of four years and an election held every four years thereafter to fill those positions.
