[Adopted 2-13-1995 by Ord. No. 1995-2]
The Township Council hereby accepts the designation
of certain areas contained in its Resolution adopted August 8, 1994
delineating such areas and setting forth a development plan. The Township
Council accepts this designation from the Urban Enterprise Zone Authority
and accepts the designation of the Zone Development Plan, as formulated
and approved by the above Resolution.

A.
Creation. In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.
52:27H-67, the Township Council does hereby authorize the creation
of a nonprofit corporation pursuant to the provisions of Title 15
of the Revised Statutes to act as the Urban Enterprise Zone Development
Corporation for the Township.
B.
Designation as local development corporation. The
Urban Enterprise Zone Development Corporation shall be considered
to be a local development corporation for the purpose of receiving
any State financial or technical assistance as may be available to
it.
C.
Composition. The Urban Enterprise Zone Development
Corporation shall include on its board of directors/trustees representatives
of the Township Council, members of the business community of the
Township and representatives of community organizations in the Township
so that the total membership of the board of directors/trustees shall
be broadly representative of businesses and communities within the
Township.
D.
Appointments. The Township Council shall make the
first appointments of the members of the board of directors/trustees
of the Urban Enterprise Zone Development Corporation. Thereafter,
the Township Council shall appoint new members as the terms of members
expire or their position becomes vacant.
