As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
SPECIAL EVENT
An event, including but not limited to a parade, carnival, athletic
event, festival, show, fair, celebration, performance, fireworks display,
car show or other similar types of events.
It shall be unlawful for any person at any special event to do any of
the following within the area designated as the area or areas where said special
event is to be held:
A. Bring any animal (including fish or reptile) to the special
event, whether on a leash or not, unless said animal is part of the event
as authorized by the Township of Mount Holly or other sponsor of the special
event.
B. Use any bicycle, unicycle or motorized vehicle, with
the exception of motorized vehicles permitted by Americans with Disabilities
Act.
C. Use any skateboard, roller skates, roller blades or other
similar device.
D. Use any radio, tape player, stereo, boom box, speakers
or other devise which transmits music or sound into the special event area.
It is permissible for an individual to wear a headphone radio device sometimes
known as a "Walkman."
E. Carry or possess any athletic equipment similar but not
limited to basketballs, baseball bats or Frisbees.
Should any individual violate any of the provisions of this chapter
and if said individual shall refuse to come into compliance with the chapter
requirement after being provided a verbal warning by a police officer, then
the police officer is authorized to issue a violation. Any person who violates
the terms of this chapter is subject to a fine not to exceed $500, along with
court costs.
