The Franklin Township Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes that the Offices of Secretary and of Treasurer may be held by the same person.

The office and position of Code Enforcement Officer of Franklin Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania (the “Code Enforcement Officer”) is hereby created. The Code Enforcement Officer shall administer and enforce such rules, regulations and ordinances of Franklin Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, as may, from time to time, be authorized and directed by the Franklin Township Board of Supervisors, by appropriate ordinance(s) or resolution(s).
The Code Enforcement Officer of Franklin Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania is hereby authorized and directed to administer and enforce the Junkyards and Junk Dealers Chapter on behalf of the Board and the Township, and, to that end, throughout the chapter, the words “or the Code Enforcement Officer” are hereby added to each reference in the chapter to the “Board.”
