A snow, ice or bad weather emergency may be declared by the Township in compliance with Chapter
187, Streets and Sidewalks, Article
V, Snow and Ice Removal. If declared, the parking restrictions of Chapter
187, Streets and Sidewalks, Article
V, Snow and Ice Removal, shall be in effect.
After any snow, ice or bad weather emergency
is declared, it shall be unlawful, at any time during the continuance
of the emergency, for any person:
A. To park a motor vehicle or allow the vehicle to remain
parked anywhere on any snow emergency route designated pursuant to
this article; or
B. To drive any motor vehicle on any such snow emergency
route unless that vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XVIII (§
209-67), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as snow emergency routes.
