[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Emerson 5-28-1974 by Ord. No. 628 (Ch. 57 of the 1966 Code). Amendments
noted where applicable.]
The Borough of Emerson desires to participate
in the area of operations of the Housing Authority of Bergen County
throughout its territorial boundary and the jurisdiction of the Mayor
and Council for the purpose of alleviating the shortage of safe and
sanitary housing for low-income senior citizens.
The Borough of Emerson does hereby consent to
its inclusion in the area of operation of the Housing Authority of
Bergen County, through the leasing program.

The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file a certified copy of this chapter with the Commissioner of
the State Department of Environmental Protection and with the Secretary
of the Housing Authority of Bergen County.
The Borough of Emerson reserves the right to
modify or terminate this chapter at any time by adopting the necessary
procedure therefor.
