The audit of the Township accounts will be conducted by an independent
auditor who will be a certified public accountant registered in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania or a firm of certified public accountants so registered.
The independent auditor will be appointed annually, by resolution, at
least 30 days prior to the close of the fiscal year to make an independent
examination of all the accounts and account records of the Township for the
fiscal year then closing.
The compensation for the independent auditor will be fixed by the Board
of Commissioners by resolution.
The office of the elected Auditor(s) of Patterson Township is being
abolished.
