[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Trafford 10-3-1989
as Ch. 41 of the 1989 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A Police Department be and the same is hereby created and established
in and for the Borough of Trafford, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
Said Police Department shall and does consist of a Chief of Police and
such other patrolmen and police officers as the Borough Council shall deem
necessary or advisable, from time to time, to employ.
The salaries of said Chief of Police, patrolmen and police officers
shall be set and established, from time to time, by the Borough Council of
the Borough of Trafford, either by resolution or motion of said Borough Council,
so long as said procedure shall not conflict with any laws of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania.
