On streets in the Borough of Emsworth on which
vehicles are to be parked diagonally under the provisions of this
chapter, such parked vehicles shall be parked within the lines marked
on such streets in the Borough of Emsworth for such parking and no
vehicle may occupy more than one of such spaces so marked.
No vehicle shall park at any time within 20
feet of a regularly marked bus stop in the Borough of Emsworth.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon
any of the following streets or parts thereof:

A.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to prohibit parking
on highways or parts thereof in the Borough of Emsworth which are
being constructed, repaired or improved, for a period not to exceed
the duration of said construction, repair or improvement. When, in
the opinion of the Mayor, the public safety does not require the prohibition
of parking at all times on such highways, or part thereof, being constructed,
repaired or improved, the Mayor is authorized to permit parking for
such periods as will not endanger the public safety. In cases where
parking is so prohibited or regulated by said Mayor, proper signs
will be erected by the Public Works Department in accordance with
the Acts of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in such cases
made and provided, giving notice of such prohibition or regulation.
B.
The Mayor and the Public Safety Committee are also
hereby authorized to prohibit parking on any highways, or part thereof,
in the Borough of Emsworth, entirely or for certain hours to be designated
by the Mayor and said Committee for periods not to exceed 60 days
as trial periods to study the effect of parking or the movement of
traffic within the Borough of Emsworth. While such trial periods are
in effect, proper signs shall be erected by the Public Safety Committee
to show that parking is prohibited or regulated thereon.
