A. 
It shall not be lawful for any person or persons to throw on or deposit in any street, lane or alley or on any pavement, sidewalk or in any drain laid out and ordained for public use within the City any straw, hay, dung, paper, ashes, coal, sawdust, stone, brick or any rubbish of any kind whatever under a penalty as set forth in § 232-2, provided, that persons may improve lanes, alleys and pavements with coal ashes under the control of the City Council and not otherwise.
B. 
It shall not be lawful for any person or persons to convey the gray water (water which falls within the definition of "sewage" as defined in Chapter 217 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Butler) from their kitchens, cellars or premises to any of the streets, lanes, or alleys within the City or to any drain or ditch on any said streets, lanes or alleys or into any lot.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this Article shall, upon conviction thereof before a District Justice, be subject to a fine of up to $300 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject to imprisonment in the county jail for up to 90 days.
