[Adopted by the Board of Water Commissioners 8-22-1989]
By separate regulation, the due date for payment of water charges
has been established as no later than thirty (30) days after the mailing
of said bill for water charges.
At the first official meeting following the established due
date, the Water Commissioners shall certify the unpaid rate or charges
to the Tax Collector who shall add the charge as a tax on the property.
Once certified by the Water Commissioners, the water charges shall
be collected as a local tax pursuant to the requirements set forth
in MGL C. 60, § 1 et seq.
