GENERAL REFERENCES
Building permits — See Ch. 127.
Fees — See Ch. 175.
Any tank, indoor, outdoor or underground, meant for the storage of fuel shall require a tank permit issued by the Building Inspector before installation or removal.
A. 
Installations shall be inspected for compliance with New York State code, safety of location, and pressure tested.
B. 
Removal of tanks shall be inspected for the possible presence of contamination.
C. 
In the case of underground tank removals, the owner or agent shall submit to the Building Inspector a copy of the soil test by an approved agency and a copy of the receipt of the tank from such approved agency.
Tank permit fees shall apply as indicated in Chapter 175, Fees, and as amended from time to time by the Board of Trustees.
