[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village

Any tank, indoor, outdoor or underground, meant for the storage
of fuel shall require a tank permit issued by the Building Inspector
before installation or removal.
A.
Installations shall be inspected for compliance with New York State
code, safety of location, and pressure tested.
B.
Removal of tanks shall be inspected for the possible presence of
contamination.
C.
In the case of underground tank removals, the owner or agent shall
submit to the Building Inspector a copy of the soil test by an approved
agency and a copy of the receipt of the tank from such approved agency.
