[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Borough Council of the
Borough of Seaside Park 3-3-1988 by Ord. No. 1034 (Ch. 50, Art. VIII, of
the 1970 Borough Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Within the Borough of Seaside Park, residents shall be given
preference upon initial hiring to all classified positions except
as otherwise provided by law. Any bona fide resident, for the purpose
of this chapter, is a person having a permanent domicile within the
Borough.
In the event that there are no qualified residents to initially
fill positions of employment within the Borough of Seaside Park, then
preference shall be given in the following order:
