A. The
Mayor or an individual Alderman shall be allowed two (2) absences
from scheduled regular meetings within a calendar year, after which
they shall not receive the current compensation for a meeting for
each meeting absence in excess of the two (2).
B. A "calendar year" shall be defined as a twelve (12) month
period, beginning April 15, 2009, and running twelve (12) months hence.

A. Board Of Aldermen. For submittals from outside sources,
complete materials for the agenda shall be submitted no later than
Thursday at 5:00 P.M. eight (8) business days prior to the next Board
of Aldermen meeting. Aldermen packets shall be delivered by staff
the Thursday of the week prior to the next meeting.
B. Planning And Zoning Commission. For submittals from outside
sources, complete materials for the agenda shall be submitted no later
than Friday at 5:00 P.M., fifteen (15) business days prior to the
next Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. If an observed holiday
falls on a Friday, materials will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. on Thursday.
Planning and Zoning Commission packets shall be delivered by staff
the Friday of the week prior to the next meeting. This change presumes
the Planning and Zoning Commission regular meetings are to be held
the second (2nd) Thursday of each month.
C. Subsection
(A) and
(B) of this Section do not apply to Section
400.2400 et seq., Amendments.
D. Exceptions. Exceptions to these deadlines may be made for
emergencies and/or special meetings of either entity as approved by
the Mayor, or in his absence the Mayor Pro Tem, for the Board of Aldermen
and the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
