In accordance with Wisconsin State Statute § 61.23(2),
the regular term of office of Village President and Trustees shall
commence on the third Tuesday of April in the year of their election.
The regular term of other officers shall commence on May 1 succeeding
their election unless otherwise provided by ordinance or statute.

The Village shall hold a primary election on the third Tuesday
in February if the number of candidates who have filed nomination
papers for the same elective office in the municipality exceeds twice
the number to be elected to the office.
A primary for the office of Municipal Judge under Wisconsin
Statutes Section 755.01(4) shall be held whenever there are more than
two candidates for that office. Those offices for which a primary
has been held shall have only the names of candidates nominated at
the primary appear on the official spring election ballot. When the
number of candidates for an office does not exceed twice the number
to be elected, their names shall appear on the official ballot for
the election without a primary.

A. Authority to Set Salaries. The Village President and other Trustees
who make up the Village Board, whether operating under general or
special law, may, by majority vote of all members of the Village Board,
determine that a salary be paid the President, Trustees, other Village
officials, and employees. Salaries may be amended from time to time
as shall be determined by the Board, except the salary of an elected
officialS shall not be increased during his or her term of office.
B. Salaries Established. The Village Board does hereby ordain that salaries
of elected official shall be established as follows:
1. President: shall receive $1,800 annually, paid in equal monthly installments.
2. Trustees: shall receive $900 annually, paid in equal monthLY installments.
C. Per-Diem Allowance. In addition to the salary set forth in Subsection
B.1 and
B.2, the President and Trustees shall receive the following compensation:
1. A per-diem of $50 for every special Board meeting attended.
2. A per-diem of $40 for every committee meeting attended.
3. A per-diem of $25 for every ad hoc committee meeting attended.
