The regulations set forth in this Article or set forth elsewhere in this Chapter, when referred to in this Article, are the district regulations in the "E" Commercial District.

A. 
A building or premises may be used for any purpose except the following:
1. 
Bakeries, other than those whose products are sold at retail only on the premises.
2. 
Blacksmith or horseshoeing shop.
3. 
Bottling works.
4. 
Building material storage yard.
5. 
Carting, express, hauling or storage yard.
6. 
Cemetery, mausoleum or crematory.
7. 
Contractor's plant or storage yard.
8. 
Coal, coke or wood yard.
9. 
Cooperage works.
10. 
Dyeing and cleaning works employing more than five (5) persons on the premises.
11. 
Ice plant or storage house of more than five (5) tons capacity.
12. 
Laundries employing more than five (5) persons on the premises.
13. 
Livery stable or riding academy.
14. 
Lumberyard.
15. 
Machine shop.
16. 
Milk distributing station, other than a retail business conducted on the premises.
17. 
Stone monumental works employing other than five (5) persons.
18. 
Motels and hotels.
19. 
Storage warehouse.
20. 
Storage or sale of used cars, except in conformity with the provisions of Article XIV, Section 405.590, Subsection (A), Paragraph 9.
21. 
Any kind of manufacture or treatment other than manufacture or treatment of products clearly incidental to the conduct of a retail business conducted on the premises, said incidental use to occupy not more than forty percent (40%) of the floor area with not more than five (5) employees engaged at any time on the premises in the incidental use.
22. 
In general those uses which may be obnoxious or offensive by reason of emission of odor, dust, smoke, gas or noise.

The parking regulations shall be the same as those in the "D" Local Business District.

No building shall exceed three (3) stories or forty-five (45) feet in height except as otherwise provided in Article XII.

A. 
Front Yard. The front yard regulations are the same as those in the "D" Local Business Districts. (Article VII).
B. 
Side Yard. The side yard regulations for dwellings are the same as those in the "D" Local Business Districts. In all other cases a side yard is not required except on the side of a lot adjoining a dwelling district, in which case there shall be a side yard of not less than five (5) feet.
C. 
Rear Yard. The rear yard regulations for dwellings are the same as those in the "C" Multiple-Dwelling District. In all other cases a rear yard is not required except where a lot abuts a dwelling district, in which case there shall be a rear yard of not less than fifteen (15) feet.
D. 
Intensity Of Use. The intensity of use regulations are the same as those in the "C" Multiple-Dwelling District (Article VI).
