Authorizing the making of a loan of $9,500, for the purpose
of purchasing at a price of $5,700, the lot of ground, together with
the buildings thereon erected, belonging to the Leo Independent Fire
Engine Company No. 1 of Red Lion borough, and situate on the north
side of First Avenue, in said borough and for the purpose of refunding
of the present bonded indebtedness of the Borough of Red Lion aggregating
$3,700, and authorizing the issuance of bonds of the Borough for the
payment of said loan of $9,500, creating a sinking fund for the payment
of said bonds and the interest and State tax thereon as the same shall
become due

to Charles Street, a distance of about 320 feet; Charles Street from
Henrietta Street to Boundary Avenue, a distance of about 354 feet;
Boundary Avenue from Charles Street to South Franklin Street from
Boundary Avenue to the Borough limits, a distance of about 682 feet;
Boundary Avenue from South Franklin Street to Linden Avenue, a distance
of about 308 feet; West Gay Street from Charles Street West, a distance
of about 536 feet; East Gay Street from North Main Street to the old
cemetery fence to the Borough limits, a distance of about 500 feet;
and West High Street from North Franklin Street West, a distance of
about 500 feet, including the necessary drainage thereof; providing
for the application of the proceeds of said bonds for said purpose
and laying an annual tax for the payment o the principal and interest
of said bonds

toward the funding of a floating debt incurred in a program of street
widening, drainage, and improvement; providing for the rate of interest
on said bonds, fixing the maturity date thereof; stating the estimated
period of usefulness of the improvements for which said bonds are
to be issued; approving the form of bond and coupon; providing for
the assessment, levy, and collection of a tax to pay the interest
covenanted to be paid thereon and the principal thereto at maturity;
establishing a sinking fund; directing the President or Vice President
and the Secretary of Borough Council to prepare, verify, and file
the required statement; and authorizing and directing the Secretary
