The following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
An electronic and/or battery-operated device, the use of
which may resemble smoking, that can be used to deliver an inhaled
dose of nicotine or other chemically derived substances. "Electronic
smoking device" includes any such device, whether manufactured, distributed,
marketed, or sold as an electronic cigarette, an electronic cigar,
an electronic cigarillo, an electronic pipe, an electronic hookah,
or any other product name or descriptor.
Any and all events related to any municipal building and
its component departments and functions.
All buildings and facilities, owned, or leased by the Town
under the Town Council's control, including outside areas within
20 feet of same but not including areas so designated by the Council.
Any person or persons including, but not limited to, contract
or other workers on municipal buildings, Town employees, and the public
at large.
The smoking or use of any substance or item which contains
tobacco, cannabis, or nicotine products and their other chemically
derived substances, including, but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars,
pipes, or other smoking tobacco or material, or having in one's
possession a lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, or other substance containing
tobacco, including chewing tobacco, E-cigarettes and vapes and all
electronic smoking types of devices.
Smoking and other uses of tobacco and cannabis products are
hereby prohibited in any municipal building and during any municipal
activity.
