No vehicle shall be parked, left unattended or stored, except temporarily
for the purposes of making a delivery, service call or the like, on any property
in the Borough between the curbline of any public street and any building
or structure on the premises which fronts or faces the street.
No vehicle shall be parked on private property in any manner which prevents
or seriously hampers the Fire Department from quickly and expeditiously bringing water hose lines from
the nearest hydrant to any building or structure on the premises.
In addition to the penalty provided by §
1-15, the Police Department may take away and store in a safe place any vehicle which is parked,
left unattended or stored in violation of this article. All costs of towing
and storage shall be paid by the violator.

The purpose of this article is to establish certain areas that are private
property that open to the public or in which the public is invited that shall
prohibit parking in areas designated as "handicapped parking spaces for use
by persons who have been issued special identification cards by the Division
of Motor Vehicles. No other person shall be permitted to park in these spaces."
This article is enacted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:48-2.46, which
does confer upon the Borough of Cresskill the right to establish handicapped
parking spaces in order to preserve and safeguard the public health, safety,
morals and welfare.

For violation of any provision of this article, the penalty shall be
in accordance with the Violations Bureau Schedule of the Municipal Court of
Cresskill.
