[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee
of the Township of Middle 8-19-1982 by Ord. No. 438-82. Amendments noted where

Pursuant to the authority contained in N.J.S.A.
5:8-31, it is hereby ordained that bingo may be conducted on the first
day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," within
the Township of Middle, by those organizations properly licensed to
hold and operate games of chance, subject to such conditions and regulations
for the supervision and conduct thereof as shall be prescribed by
rules and regulations duly adopted from time to time by the Legalized
Games of Chance Control Commission.
Pursuant to the authority contained in N.J.S.A.
5:8-58, it is hereby ordained that raffles may be conducted on the
first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday,"
within the Township of Middle, by those organizations properly licensed
to hold and operate games of chance, subject to such conditions and
regulations for the supervision and conduct thereof as shall be prescribed
by rules and regulations duly adopted from time to time by the Legalized
Games of Chance Control Commission.

The Municipal Clerk is hereby delegated the authority to act
as the "issuing authority" to approve the granting of bingo and raffle
licenses in accordance with N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1 et seq. All organizations
seeking a bingo and raffle license shall file an application with
the Office of the Municipal Clerk on forms provided.
