The installation of a Knox key box is required by the owner in any multiple-occupancy dwelling of six or more units and condominium associations of the same size equipped with an automatic fire-detection or -suppression system which, when activated, summons the Fire Department to the premises.
The key boxes shall contain the following:
A. 
A key to lock points of entrance.
B. 
The keys to the mechanical equipment room.
C. 
The keys to electrical rooms.
D. 
The keys to the elevator controls.
E. 
The keys to other areas as directed by officials of the Media Fire Department.
It shall be the duty of the Media Fire Department to make the necessary arrangements with the Knox Company to institute the paperwork necessary to permit purchase of the Knox key boxes by the individual owners.

The key boxes to be purchased for installation on all existing construction and on all construction after the date hereof shall be as determined by the Building Inspector.
The installation of the key boxes hereinabove described shall be completed no later than six months after the passage of this article.

Any person violating any provision of this article, shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution for each and every offense and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, be imprisoned for not more than 90 days. Each day during which any person violates any provisions of this article shall constitute a separate offense.
