Any law to the contrary notwithstanding, every
ordinance and every amendment or supplement to an ordinance hereafter
adopted or approved by the Town Board of the Town of Huntington, which
is or may be required to be published in one (1) or more newspapers
in order to make such ordinance, amendment or supplement effectual,
need not be so published in full, but it shall be sufficient to publish
in such newspapers a notice setting forth the title thereof, a brief
description of the provisions thereof and a statement that the full
text thereof is on file and may be inspected in the office of the
Town Clerk during the period of such publication.
