A. 
Fifteen miles per hour. Fifteen miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed within the Village on or along that portion of Plains Road within 300 feet in either direction of the driveway giving access to the premises of the Discovery Institute, a private school located at 64 Plains Road.
B. 
Twenty-five miles per hour. Twenty-five miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed limit at which vehicles may proceed within the Village on or along highways as follows:
(1) 
Colonial Drive.
(2) 
Huguenot Street, from its intersection with Main Street to its intersection with Old Kingston Road.
(3) 
North Manheim.

C. 
Thirty miles per hour. Thirty miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed within the corporate limits of the Village except as otherwise provided in this section or where a different speed limit is posted on a state highway by the New York State Department of Transportation.
D. 
Forty miles per hour. Forty miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed within the Village on or along highways as follows:
(1) 
North Chestnut Street (N.Y. Route 32) from Bonticou View Drive to the northerly Village limits.
(2) 
South Chestnut Street (N.Y. Route 208) from Southside Avenue to the southerly Village limits.
E. 
Five miles per hour. Five miles per hour is hereby established as the maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on any parking lot owned, leased or maintained by the Village of New Paltz.
