A. A certain document, copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk for the City of Roseville, being marked and designated as the "International Mechanical Code," as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code for the City of Roseville, State of Michigan, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; for the regulation of the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of mechanical systems in the City of Roseville and providing for the issuance of permits and collection fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms, supplements, amendments, provisions and penalties of such International Mechanical Code, 1996 Edition, published by the International Code Council, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection
B of this chapter.
B. Additions, insertions and changes. The following sections
are hereby revised as follows:
(1) Section 101.1, Title, is amended to read as follows:

101.1 Title: These regulations shall be known as the "Mechanical
Code of the City of Roseville," hereinafter referred to as "this code."

(2) Section 106.5.2, Fee schedule, is amended to read as
follows:

106.5.2 Fee Schedule: The fees for all mechanical work
shall be paid in accordance with the fee schedule established by resolution
of the Roseville City Council.

(3) Section 108.4, Violation penalties, is amended to read
as follows:

108.4 Violation Penalties: Any person who shall violate
a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements
thereof or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair a building or structure
in violation of any approved plan or directive of the Code Official, or of
this Code, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more
than $500 or by imprisonment not exceeding 90 days, or both such fine and
imprisonment. Each day that the violation continues after a due notice has
been served shall be deemed a separate offense.

(4) Section 108.5, Unlawful continuance, is amended to read
as follows:

108.5 Unlawful Continuance: Any person who shall continue
any work in or about the structure after having been served with a stop-work
order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a
violation or unsafe condition, shall be liable to a fine of not less than
$100 but not more than $500.
