The Police Department for the City of Roseville
may, but is not required, to inspect vehicles at the request of owners
or occupants in order to determine whether defective equipment has
been remedied. Such inspections shall be conducted only upon the payment
in advance of an inspection fee to defray actual costs of inspection
in an amount as determined periodically by resolution of the City
Council, payable to the Police Department. The Police Department and
City do not warrant or represent by any such inspection that vehicles
are free from defects or are able to be operated safely by the performance
of any such inspection.
