No person shall allow any animals or fowl to run at large or be at large within the Village. An animal is “at large” when it is not on the premises of its owner or custodian and is not on a leash and under the immediate control of its owner or custodian.
Except as otherwise provided in § 119 of the Agriculture and Markets Law, any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to a maximum fine of $250 or a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 days, or both, for each offense.[1]
