No theater or moving picture house shall be operated within the Village unless the same is provided with an auxiliary electric circuit service connected with the exit and stairway lights of such theater or moving picture place, so as to provide auxiliary service to such lights in case of the failure of the main electric service, and such auxiliary service shall be separately metered.
The fact that the Village may have issued a license to any such theater or moving picture house to operate shall not be construed in any way as a waiver of the requirements of this article.
For any and every violation of the provisions of this article, the owner of such theater or moving picture house, the operator thereof, the manager or assistant manager thereof, or any other person who commits, takes part or assists in such violation or in the operation of such theater or moving picture house shall, for each and every violation thereof, and for each and every day that such violation continues, be subject to a fine of not less than $50 per day, and in addition thereto any violation of the provisions of this article or of any part thereof shall be and is hereby declared to be disorderly conduct, and any person violating this article or any part thereof shall be and is hereby declared to be a disorderly person.
