All residences must conspicuously display street
numbers in the front area of the property. Said numbers must be a
minimum of four inches in height and not greater than 10 inches in
height. The number assigned to each building shall be displayed by
the owner or occupant on the front of the building and/or condominium
unit or in the front yard at or near the front entrance to the building
or premises and so located as to be visible to persons passing by
the premises on the abutting street. All condominium units, for the
purpose of implementing 911 and/or emergency response service calls,
shall be identified by the name of the condominium project, followed
by the unit number.
No certificate of occupancy shall be issued for occupancy of any building hereafter unless the provisions of §
73-1 shall have been satisfied.
Upon the request of any property owner or occupant,
it shall be the duty of the Borough Clerk to notify the owner or occupant
of the number assigned to the respective building or lot.
Failure to comply with the provisions of this
chapter may result in a summons being issued for appearance in the
Municipal Court and will result in a penalty of up to $500 to be collected
by the Court.
