All hunting within the Village of Morrisville is hereby prohibited. Under no circumstances shall a loaded firearm be carried in any public place, excepting by a peace officer or other duly constituted authority. In requiring firearms to be unloaded, it is meant that the chamber and magazine of the firearm shall be completely emptied.
Any person found guilty of a violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars ($250.) or by imprisonment not exceeding fifteen (15) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
