Editor's Note: This local law repealed former Art. III, Business Investment Tax Exemption Reduction, adopted 8-12-1996 by L.L. No. 12-1996.
Pursuant to the authority of Subdivision 7 of § 485-b of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York, and any and all amendments thereto, the Town of Victor, by local law, may reduce and/or eliminate the business tax exemption provisions.
This article shall not apply to or affect a project in the course of construction or exemptions existing prior to the passage of this article.
Business investment exemptions pursuant to § 485-b of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York are hereinafter restricted to districts zoned Light Industrial and the entire Village of Victor. The Commercial/Light Industrial Zone is excluded.
Upon adoption of this article, the Town shall file same with the State Board of Assessor of each assessing unit which comprises the county, Town and school district.
