A. 
Smoking is prohibited in the Ridley Township Municipal Building at all times by any building occupants, including employees, lessees and/or visitors.
B. 
No persons shall carry a lighted cigarette, cigar or pipe or other smoking material while inside the Ridley Township Municipal Building.
A. 
Employees who work at the Ridley Township Municipal Building are allowed to smoke on Township business while outside of said building.
B. 
Employees will be allowed a cigarette break outside of the building as conditions permit. Department heads will reasonably accommodate the needs of smoking employees in this regard.
C. 
Township employees are allowed to smoke in Township vehicles as long as no nonsmoking passengers are present.
D. 
The Township will not discriminate in favor of either smokers or nonsmokers in any personnel action. Hiring practices will not be affected except that applicants will be advised of this chapter.
A copy of this chapter shall be posted in the Ridley Township Municipal Building.
The Code Enforcement Office of the Township of Ridley will enforce this chapter and assist in the implementation of this nonsmoking policy.
Any person who violates any provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a fine or penalty not exceeding $300 for each offense. Such fines or penalties shall be collected as like fines or penalties are now by law collected.
