Horse racing, dog racing, stock car racing,
motorcycle racing and any other motorized vehicular racing is prohibited
within the territorial limits of the Town of Cromwell. Also prohibited
is the stabling of horses, stabling of dogs or parking of vehicles
in connection with horse racing, dog racing, stock car racing, motor
vehicle racing and any other motorized vehicular racing which may
take place in any Town adjacent to the territorial limits of the Town
of Cromwell.
It shall be unlawful for any person to participate
in, promote, sponsor or be actively associated with the promotion
of any of the following types of racing, which said events are designed
to take place within the territorial limits of the Town of Cromwell,
as follows:
As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
Includes any individual, corporation, association, copartnership,
company, firm or other aggregation of individuals.
Any person who violates any provision of this
chapter shall be fined not more than the maximum allowed by state
statutes.
