Food-handling establishments — See Ch. 166.
The Township Committee of the Township of Bethlehem shall not be obligated to issue any license for the sale of any alcoholic beverages whatsoever, but may do so at its discretion.
A. 
The total number of plenary retail consumption licenses to be issued in and for the Township of Bethlehem shall not exceed five in number.
B. 
The total number of seasonal retail consumption licenses to be issued in and for the Township of Bethlehem shall not exceed one in number.
C. 
The total number of plenary retail distribution licenses to be issued in and for the Township of Bethlehem shall not exceed one in number.
D. 
Not more than one club license shall be issued in the Township of Bethlehem.

All alcoholic beverages of any nature whatsoever shall be sold and dispensed on premises which shall be in plain view of the public, and the place of sale thereof shall not be concealed by screens or otherwise.

The hours for the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages in the Township of Bethlehem shall be:
A. 
On weekdays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. of the following day.
B. 
On Sundays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. of the following day.

C. 
On the 31st day of December, the closing time shall be extended until 4:00 a.m. of the following day.
D. 
Liquor license establishments may be open, on weekdays, beginning at 6:00 a.m. to serve breakfast only. No alcoholic beverages shall be sold prior to 7:00 a.m. on weekdays.[1]

A. 
There shall not be employed by any person in the Township of Bethlehem any person under the age of 21 years to serve, sell or dispense alcoholic beverages of any kind whatsoever.
B. 
No alcoholic beverages shall be sold, served or dispensed to any person under the age of 21 years.
The Township Committee of the Township of Bethlehem shall have the power to suspend or revoke, by resolution, any license granted to any person by said Township Committee if such person violates any of the provisions of this chapter or any act of Legislature covering the sale, use, transportation or regulation of alcoholic beverages, and the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be in addition to any other such regulations and shall not by implication, or otherwise, exclude any other such regulations.

A. 
Fee amounts.
(1) 
The fee for a plenary retail consumption license shall be and is hereby fixed at the sum of $2,039.33 per year.
(2) 
The fee for a seasonal retail consumption license shall be and is hereby fixed at the sum of $1,527.31 per year.
(3) 
The fee for a plenary retail distribution license shall be and is hereby fixed at the sum of $1,527.31 per year.
(4) 
The annual fee for a club license (N.J.S.A. 33:1-12, Subsection 5) is hereby fixed at $248.83 per year.
B. 
All of the above license fees shall become due and payable at the time that the application is filed with the Clerk of the Township of Bethlehem, in the County of Hunterdon.
