Editor's Note: This local law was approved at referendum held
on 11-8-1994.
This Article has been prepared pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law
of the State of New York, which Article provides for the Town Clerk/Tax Collector
and the Highway Superintendent to be elected for four-year terms, rather than
the two-year terms, with such four-year terms for the Town Clerk/Tax Collector
and the Highway Superintendent commencing on January 1, 1996, and the first
four-year term for the Town of Barton Supervisor commencing on January 1,
1998.
