It shall be the duty of each and every owner, trustee, lessee or agent and occupant of each and every house, building or other structure to cause the same to be numbered in accordance with this chapter.
A. 
The numbers shall be mounted in a conspicuous place on every house or building, or on both sides of a mailbox for the house or building, so that said numbers can be readily seen and read from the street or highway where access is gained by an emergency vehicle.
B. 
Each number shall be a minimum of three inches in height.
C. 
It shall be unlawful to cover or conceal any number properly placed on a building or mailbox.

This chapter shall be enforced by action brought before a District Justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure. Any person who violates or permits the violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding, be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation continues, or is permitted to continue, shall constitute a separate offense. Each section of this chapter that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense.
The Board of Supervisors may pass by resolution at any time after the enactment of this chapter any rules and/or regulations it deems necessary to implement, effectuate, interpret, enforce, construe or apply this chapter.
