There shall be appointed every three (3) years
by the Board of Health of the Borough of Ridgefield a suitable person
to be Registrar of Vital Statistics in and for the Borough of Ridgefield,
who shall serve until the first day of January ending a three-year
term, or until his or her successor is appointed or qualified.
In addition to the duties prescribed to be performed
by such officer by the laws of the State of New Jersey, the Registrar
of Vital Statistics shall perform such duties as may from time to
time be required by said Board of Health. He or she shall, in addition
to transmitting to the State Bureau of Vital Statistics all documents
required by law to be so transmitted, report the same to the Board
of Health at least once in each month.
