The Board of Health shall be composed of not fewer than five members, who shall be residents of said Township and who shall be invested with the duties, powers and privileges set forth by the Revised Statutes of the State of New Jersey, more particularly as set forth in N.J.S.A. 26:3-1 et seq., but not limited thereby.
The members of said Board of Health shall be appointed by resolution of the Township Committee to serve for the terms as set forth in § 52-3 of this chapter.

The term of office for the members of the said Board of Health shall be as follows: On the establishment and creation of this Board an appointment shall be made of one member to serve a one-year term, two members to serve two-year terms and four members to serve three-year terms; on the expiration of the respective terms all appointments shall be for a three-year period.
In the event that any vacancy shall exist or be created by the Township Committee of the Township of Cinnaminson or the regulatory powers of the State of New Jersey or otherwise, said vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term of the office so vacated in like manner and procedure as in the creation and appointment of said office.[1]
