The position of Director of Recreation is hereby
created to design, coordinate and administer recreational and athletic
programs conducted in and for the City of Garfield.

The Director of Recreation, once appointed in
a manner which is consistent with this article, shall serve at the
pleasure of the City Council, at such compensation as may be fixed
by the City Council upon the recommendation of the City Manager and
the Chief Financial Officer.
