Whenever a term is used in this chapter or in , Chapter 335 (Soil Removal), Chapter 324 (Site Plan Review), Chapter 358 (Subdivision of Land) or Chapter 400 (Zoning), which is defined in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., as amended, such term is intended to have the meaning set forth in the definition of such term found in said statute unless said term is specifically defined in any of the aforementioned ordinances, in which event said term as defined shall be construed to be applicable to all of said chapter, unless a contrary intention is clearly expressed or implied from the context in which such term is used.
All sections of Chapter 324 (Site Plan Review), Chapter 358 (Subdivision of Land), and Chapter 400 (Zoning) or any other ordinance of the Borough of Gibbsboro which contains provisions contrary to the provisions of this chapter shall be and are hereby, to the extent of such inconsistency, repealed.
The substantive provisions of existing and Chapter 324 (Site Plan Review) and Chapter 358 (Subdivision of Land) of the Code of the Borough of Gibbsboro and the development regulations set forth therein shall continue in full force and effect and shall be read in para materia with this chapter.

Editor's Note: In Ord. No. 76-6, the section following this section provided for the continuation of the existing Zoning Ordinance for a period of one year. Since such period has expired and the Borough adopted a new Zoning Ordinance, such section is no longer effective and has thus been deleted.
All applications for development filed prior to the effective date of this chapter may be continued, but any appeals arising out of decisions made on any such application shall be governed by the provisions of Article IV of this chapter.
This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Land Use Procedures Ordinance of the Borough of Gibbsboro."
Immediately upon adoption of this chapter, the Municipal Clerk shall file a copy of this chapter with the County Planning Board as required by law. The Clerk shall also file with said County Planning Board copies of all other ordinances of the municipality relating to land use, such as Chapter 324 (Site Plan Review), Chapter 358 (Subdivision of Land), and Chapter 400 (Zoning).

The Borough Clerk is hereby directed to give notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing on the adoption of this chapter to the County Planning Board and to all others entitled thereto pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:55D-15. Upon the adoption of this chapter after public hearing thereon, the Borough Clerk is further directed to publish notice of the passage thereof and to file a copy of this chapter, as finally adopted, with the Camden County Planning Board as required by N.J.S.A. 40:55D-16.
