As used in this article, unless otherwise stated,
the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
Any vehicle propelled otherwise than by muscular power, including
trailers, semitrailers or other types of vehicles designed to be drawn
by a motor vehicle, except such vehicles as fall within the definition
of "passenger automobile" set forth in N.J.S.A. 30:1-1.
TRACTOR
A truck with a driver's cab and no body, which is used for
hauling large trailers.

No commercial vehicle with a gross weight exceeding 10,000 pounds or with greater than two axles, or any tractor as defined hereinabove, shall be stored or otherwise kept in any area classified as a residential district in Chapter
160 of this Code, between the hours of 7:30 p.m. in the evening and 6:30 a.m. in the forenoon. Residential districts shall be identified as follows: AH-1, AH-1A, AH-2, AH-3, EP, FA, FW, MCO, LD, MD, MD-1, MDR, MF, RD-1, RD-2, RD-3, RG-1, RG-2, SEN-1, SEN-2, SEN-3 AND SEN-4, ASR, WFA.
The limitations herein shall not apply to the
following:
A. Buses used on either a full- or part-time basis for
a local school system.
B. Any recreational motor vehicle, camper, tent trailer or similar vehicle, provided said storage complies with §
62-57H.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this article, or do any act or thing herein prohibited, or neglect, fail or refuse to do any act or thing herein required to be done, shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
I, of this Code.
