Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-135 there is hereby
established in and for the Township of Hillsborough the position of
Deputy Township Clerk.
The Deputy Township Clerk shall perform such
duties as may be assigned by the Township Clerk or from time to time
by the Township Committee. During the absence or disability of the
Township Clerk or in the case of vacancy in the office of the Township
Clerk, the Deputy Township Clerk shall have all the powers of the
Township Clerk and shall perform the functions and duties of such
office.
The term of office of the Deputy Township Clerk
shall be at the pleasure of the Township Committee.
