No person shall bury or make other final disposition of the body of
any person dying in the Township of Livingston or of the body of any child
stillborn in the Township of Livingston, unless:
A. That person obtains a burial permit from the registrar
of vital statistics of the Township of Livingston; or
B. That person obtains a burial permit from the municipality
in which that person has his principal place of business; or
C. That person obtains a burial permit from the municipality
in which the burial or other final disposition is to take place.
No person shall disinter or remove any dead body from any grave, tomb
or burial place in the Township of Livingston without first having obtained
a permit from the Health Division of the Township of Livingston.
The Health Division of the Township of Livingston may specify any communicable
disease or diseases in case of death from which no public funeral shall be
had and prohibit such public funeral, and in case of the threatening or prevalence
of an epidemic, may prohibit such public funeral of persons dying with the
particular disease or diseases then prevalent.
Any person who violates any section of this chapter shall be subject
to a penalty, not to exceed $50.
