The following improvements shall be installed by the subdivider prior to the approval of the final plat, or alternatively, he shall post a performance bond, as provided in §
155-5C(3) sufficient in amount to cover the estimated full costs of such construction as determined by the Planning Board. (At the discretion of the Village Board, the developer may secure the formation of a special district to install such utility and street improvements pursuant to the laws of the state).
Monuments shall be placed at all block corners,
angle points, points of curvature in streets, and points of tangency
or horizontal curves, and at such intermediate points as shall be
required by the Village Planning Board. The monuments shall be of
granite or concrete with an iron pin in the center.

A. Utility and street improvements shall be provided
in accordance with the following:
(1) Public water (where required) in accordance with procedures
and standards of the Village of Cazenovia, and the New York State
Department of Health where necessary.
(2) Sanitary sewer system (where required) in accordance
with the procedures and standards of the Village of Cazenovia and
the New York State Department of Health where necessary.
(3) Street cross sections shall be provided for all new streets in accordance with the requirements of this chapter and Chapter
152 of this Code.
(4) Grading and center line gradients, per plans and profiles
approved by the Village Highway Standards.
(5) Storm sewer system and other drainage improvements,
in accordance with procedures and standards of the Village of Cazenovia
Highway Standards, County Highway Department, and the New York State
Department of Health, where necessary.
(6) Streetlighting, according to plans and specifications
approved by the Village of Cazenovia Planning Board.
(7) Street name signs at all intersections, the design
of which shall be approved by the Planning Board.
B. Residential construction standards shall meet the
specifications set forth in the Highway Standards of the Village of
Cazenovia. These specifications are established for natural conditions
of satisfactory subgrades, slopes and drainage. Where these natural
conditions are other than favorable, the Planning Board, after consultation
with the Village Public Works Administrator, may require reasonably
higher standards for gravel base and pavement and may specify special
treatment of the subgrade.

C. For commercial, industrial and other nonresidential
subdivisions, construction standards for required improvements shall
be specified by the Planning Board.
