Village of Chester, NY Chapter 47 Fees

§ 47-1 Legislative intent.

This chapter is enacted to make more flexible the setting of fees required to be paid to the Village by virtue of any chapter or provision of the Code. This chapter is specifically intended to supersede any provision of the Code contrary herewith.

§ 47-2 Certain fees set by Board of Trustees. [1]

Any fees provided for in the Village Code shall be in such amounts as the Board of Trustees may establish from time to time by resolution at a regular meeting thereof. The Village Board may also, in its discretion, annually adopt a fee schedule for all Village fees.

§ 47-3 Posting of fees; when effective.

Said schedule of fees, rates and charges shall be posted in the office of the Village Clerk and shall be in effect the day following the day of adoption of any resolution amending such schedule.
