The Town Board of the Town of Sweden does hereby adopt the attached Charter for the Town of Sweden and Clarkson Recreation and Park Advisory Council (RPAC) (Attachment A).
Appointment of members from the Towns of Sweden
and Clarkson will start in staggered terms of office as follows: two
members from each Town appointed for three years, two members from
each Town appointed for two years, and one member from each Town appointed
for one year. Following the completion of these initial terms, all
members will be appointed for three-year terms. The terms of office
will be on an annual schedule of January 1 of each year through December
31 of each year. The initial appointments will be made in the middle
of the year 2002 and will terminate on December 31, 2003, 2004, 2005,
as per the term of office.
The initial appointment of the Chairperson will
be made by the Sweden Town Board.
The Town Board of the Town of Sweden does hereby adopt the attached Council job descriptions (Attachment B).
