All business will be transacted with the individual
in charge of the Cemetery, who shall be appointed by the Town Board
at the annual meeting of the Town Board. In the absence of the individual
in charge, Cemetery business may be transacted with the Town Supervisor.
Deeds for plots will be issued only after payment
in full of the purchase price. In arranging for interments, the plot
owner must present evidence of the ownership of the plot by presentation
of the deed to the individual in charge.
All workmen shall be subject to the direction
of the individual in charge.
Special corner markers of bronze or granite,
not more than six inches square, may be used and installed. All such
markers must be flush with the ground and shall not encroach on another
plot. The cost of corner markers shall be the responsibility of the
plot owner.
Neither the plot owner nor his agent shall be
allowed to cut grass, change grades or plant anything on the plot
or gravesite.
The outer burial case (vault) must be of concrete
and must meet all state and local codes and/or regulations.
Only one adult shall be interred in a grave.
Infants may be interred with an adult. In the case of remains after
cremations there can be two adult cremation, in one grave. Interments
shall be made with the husband being buried on the right and the wife
on the left. All interments shall be facing east.
Cemetery visitors shall be required to park
their automobiles at the entrance to the Cemetery. Automobiles are
not allowed to enter the Cemetery.
Only approved memorial candies will be allowed.
No candles will be allowed outside the Cemetery. No religious articles
or objects shall be placed in the Cemetery.
The fee schedule for the sale of Cemetery plots
and related services shall be as set forth on Schedule A annexed hereto
or as amended from time to time by further resolution by the Town
Board.
These regulations are adopted by the Town Board
and are subject to future amendment by the Town Board.
