Where uncertainty exists with respect to the
boundary of any district shown on the Village of Greene Zoning Map,
the following rules shall apply:
A. District boundary lines are either the center line
of streets, highways or railroads or the boundary lines of tracts
or lots.
B. Wherever a district boundary is indicated as approximately
paralleling a street or highway center line, the district boundary
shall be interpreted as being parallel thereto and at such dimensions
as shown on the Zoning Map. The depth of said strip shall be measured
at right angles from the street or highway center line. If no distance
is given, such dimension shall be determined by the use of the scale
as set forth on said Zoning Map.
C. Where uncertainty exists in determining the precise
location of any district boundary line, the Zoning Board of Appeals
shall interpret the intent and purpose of the Zoning Map.
Where a district boundary line divides a lot,
the regulation for either portion of the lot may, at the owner's discretion,
extend to the entire lot, but no more than 25 feet beyond the boundary
line of the district.
Except as hereinafter provide, no building or
land shall hereafter be used or occupied and no building or part thereof
shall be erected, moved or added except in conformity with the regulations
herein set forth for the district in which it is located.
